The Weekend Report by Lola Poma

Find out what happened in Madonnathon…Shell Select Balintawak…Bulacan…

La Fez!

Okay, so all of us a little too much over the weekend. Some of us had a little bit too much alcohol. Over all it was really quite an experience. I am not gonna write about anything that happened I’ll just wait for Lola Poma or Rocky to write about it and I’ll link you guys to their entry. After all, they had the most experiences over the weekend.

I just updated the software on my Ipod and I used that Itrip cd thing and put in the different FM frequencies into my Ipod. I feel totally accomplished because, well, if you knew how great I am with anything more complicated than a Nokia 6100, you’d know why I am so happy about being able to do something on the computer that isn’t emailing, surfing, downloading videos/mp3s and elchaying.

Ngarag Itey…

Bought an Itrip. They didn’t have a white Belkin for sale, so I went with style first when deciding which FM transmitter to get. Hehehehe. The black and grey Belkin will not work with the white Ipod.

Just came from Government. It’s like almost 6am and I’m waiting for Rocky and Lola Poma to pick me up. We’re going to Bulacan again…

This is crazy… Bellissima to Governement to Bulacan… Crazy…

Not a Happy Camper

A truck hit my car in Libis yesterday while I was on my way to Makati to meet a friend. I got upset and headed to Burberry 6750 to get this golf hat that I’ve been eyeing ’cause I needed a quick cheer me up kinda item. They didn’t have my size. I have to pay for the participation fee of the damage on the car. It’ll be on our insurance. Truck drivers are poor.

I’m way sad.

I’m Sick…

I think I caught a virus from Lola Poma yesterday. We were together from like lunch to breakfast. I decided to spend the whole day with Lola Poma and Rocky ’cause Rocky pointed out that he hasn’t seen me so much the past week or so. I did kinda notice that I haven’t been going out so much lately and I did miss Lola Poma and Rocky. So there… The whole day and night, I was with them.

I also got to hang out with Aileen for the first time outside a “party” setting. I always see her in bars, clubs and parties. Not exactly the best place to form a bond of friendship. But hanging with her yesterday was definitely a treat, except for the fact that she’s trying to gain weight while most everyone else is trying to lose it. Its kind of a bonus that she’s a dork and has an elchay too. Seems like our little elchay community is growing at a faster pace nowadays. Some people who have stopped elchays awhile ago seem to have come back into the picture like mattster55 & bryanaaron. I think its a good thing we get to learn more about new people. I just hope they’re not the create an account and write a couple of entries and never return to it type.

So, here I am, kinda sick but still good. I’m stuck at home. No car again, I think. Will try to head to Fitness First later.

My Take on Gay Relationships… Fidelity

A topic that seems to come up in quite a few of my conversations with fellow fags is fidelity in relationships. Usually it goes something like “Guys are naturally promiscuous and they will eventually cheat on you, sleep around…” that kind of deal. Honestly, I am so sick of hearing it. Now, don’t get me wrong, I do agree that guys are little hornballs, but that doesn’t automatically mean that they’ll sleep around or they’ll cheat on you. Dickheads would do that. We’re not dickheads, we have grey mush for brains that help us decide what to do. Uhuh, yeah.

I have a handful of gay friends who have been in a monogamous relationship for over a decade. Unfortunately, they’re not in the Philippines. Their not being in the Philippines is actually very interesting. Maybe it has something to do with culture or society. Maybe it has something to do with living in Manila.

I have this theory that the faggots of the Philippines sleep around because society permits it. They allow men to be promiscuous. Even in heterosexual relationships, men are allowed by society to have affairs and mistresses. Just look at our past president’s womanizing. Everyone knew about his mistresses and it never really became an issue. People felt sorry for Kris Aquino and her trials but she is, in fact, a mistress. Gretchen Barreto, famous harlot, was recently interviewed by a major daily for all to read about her being the other woman.

I guess, subconsciously, Filipino men have “unfaithful” embedded in their brains. Growing up with all these father figures, grandfather figures and male celebrities that have illicit affairs has desensitized Philippine society to infidelity.

Just something I was thinking about… 🙂

Spring Cleaning…

Well, its kinda like Spring cleaning but in November ’cause we don’t have Spring and I won’t do this when the weather is warm.

Last week, I went through my closet and took out clothes that I haven’t used for awhile or have no plans of using ever. So, today, I started taking out shoes. My mommy kinda got inspired so she started sorting through her shoes and clothes as well. Now, everyone is being forced to clean out their rooms of things they don’t need or have no use for ever.

It was so much fun. I’m not done but I discovered like so many things like inline skates that I didn’t know I had, figure skates that I knew I had and watches that I got as giveaways from Mtv, Disney Channel, MGM Gold, Clinique, etc… I found 2 Dance Dance Revo Dance pads, like a dozen Nike caps and a few of them unused, tees with basketball teams on them that were never worn, things that I wanted to have repaired but never got around to it, lifesize posters of Jordan, Alonzo Mourning, Grant Hill, Andre Agassi, etc…just way too many things. So much fun!

I also found clothes and things that didn’t belong to me. They belong to friends that have gone and ex-dates and/or my ex. Hahaha! I’m going to have a garage sale. It’ll be über fun!

Choices # 2

I’ve been considering buying an FM Transmitter for my Ipod. Okay, so little ole untechie me is finding it really difficult to adjust with this whole Ipos thing. It needs so many things, I swear.

Anyway, my two choices are BELKIN FM TRANSMITTER and ITRIP. I’ve tried them both and they’re both just fine. I can’t seen to decide on which one I want.

The BELKIN is not as pretty but has like its own batteries which I like because the batteries last for about a week.

The ITRIP is pretty and covers more channels, but it drains the battery like quick. Cuts the Ipod playing time in half.

Okay, so I know shoe_be_doo is so for the ITRIP, he already told me. haha. I need help.

1) BELKIN or 2) ITRIP

Which is better and why?

Choices # 1

So, I think I’m finally go and get DSL or Cable or whatever. I checked the PLDT website for My DSL and it says that I don’t have it available for this area. I think the internet cafe down the street uses BayanTel.

I need HELP. Can y’all suggest what I should be considering or which I should subscribe to?

1) BayanTel
2) Globe
3) ZPDee
4) Other ( I only know those 3, PLDT doesn’t cover my area)
