Lord of the rings
J.R.R. Tolkien: Lord of the Rings. You are
entertaining and imaginative, creating whole
new worlds around yourself. Well loved, you
have a whole league of imitators, none of which
is quite as profound as you are. Stories and
songs give a spark of joy in the middle of your
eternal battle with the forces of evil.

Which literature classic are you?

Reminisce…

After Baklissima last night, I went to Government… Well, not really, ’cause I spent most of the time eating in North Park. Yum. So, anyway, other than my best friend being drunk and needing some protection from harrassersby (he’s not much of a drinker). My little visit to Government was awesome. I ran into an old friend.

Darra!!! I ran into Joey! She’s here until Wednesday.

So, Joey (former Channel V VJ and soon to be AXN jock) is here from the USA. She’s moving to Singapore ’cause she’s got some AXN gig. Anyway, I haven’t seen her in so long. Well, I saw her two years ago for Claudine Trillo’s wedding, but we didn’t get to chit chat. We used to have long nights hiding from her ex-boyfriend, we’d talk about how we’re both battered women and how we’re such big idiots. Those were the days (so much drama). Mars was still open. Orange was Orange, not Olive or Government. I was the princess of Wherelse?!. All these “raves” everywhere. Groovenation was breaking up…Big Fish was just starting out. Mas Y Mas opened and closed. Life was one big party.

Sometimes, I miss those days, well, I had a LOT of money back then, so that I defiitely miss. Hahaha. But, I like my life now. Its so much simpler.

Eating is over…for now.

So, midnight yada yada yada…Lots of food. There’s only New Year’s Eve left to pig out. Thank God! Okay, When January hits its time to start working on the holiday pounds. Also, its time to get überly excited about American Idol 4, which will start on January 19. That is so like the same day in the US. They’ll be showing AI4 the same day. We won’t be 2 weeks late like last season. I love it. I am so not going out on Thursdays.

Lola Poma! We have to watch together! I am so excited about the top 32 and the top 12. I miss Paula, Randy and Simon. I wanna know what’s been happening with the American Idols from last season and the seasons before that. Okay, maybe its time to get excite about American Idol already. I can’t wait until January.

HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! xoxo

The Night Before Christmas

Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse,
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there.
The children were nestled all snug in their bed,
While visions of sugarplums danced in their heads,
And mamma in her ‘kerchief, and I in my cap,
Had just settled our brains for a long winter’s nap…
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.
The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow
Gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below,
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a miniature sleigh, and eight tiny reindeer,
With a little old driver, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment it must be St. Nick.
More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name:
“Now, Dasher! now, Dancer! now Prancer and Vixen!
On, Comet! on Cupid! on, Donder and Blitzen!
To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall!
Now dash away! dash away! dash away all!”
As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly,
When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky,
So up to the house-top the coursers they flew,
With the sleigh full of toys, and St. Nicholas too.
And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof
The prancing and pawing of each little hoof.
As I drew in my head, and was turning around,
Down the chimney St. Nicholas came with a bound.
He was dressed all in fur, from his head to his foot,
And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot.
A bundle of toys he had flung on his back,
And he looked like a peddler just opening his pack.
His eyes — how they twinkled — his dimples how merry!
His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!
His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,
And the beard of his chin was as white as the snow.
The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth,
And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath.
He had a broad face and a little round belly
That shook, when he laughed, like a bowl full of jelly.
He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf,
And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself.
A wink of his eye and a twist of his head
Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread.
He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
And filled all the stockings; then turned with a jerk,
And laying his finger aside of his nose,
And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose.
He sprang to his sleigh, to his teams gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
But I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight,
“Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!”

Clement C. Moore

Going out like everyday of the week kinda makes your feet go all haywire. When I woke up this afternoon. I had this itch to leave the house. I have no idea why?! Seriously. I think its because I’ve been out every single day of this month so far. Although, I’m sure that once I’m out I’d wish for some rest. Lucky for me, I remembered that the Camile Velasco Christmas special was on Channel 5 at 530pm. So, for once, I stayed home. I stayed home for Camile. Good thing too. I got to hear her sing Ex Factor. Awesome. I love her.

I’m gonna wait until 8pm so I can catch A Fairly Odd Christmas.
